Kitaro's music is forever and timeless, unbound by trends and seasons. Kitaro's music gives new power and ignites the soul to a new movement in time and space, opening new horizons of the mind. Kitaro's music can also make the listener completely lose it and cry for sorrow and joy, acting like a medicine or relief.

My first experience of Kitaro was in the early 80's when his music was played on the documentary "Silk Road", I was only a small kid back then but something moved within me nonetheless...then after almost 25 years I watched the documentary again and was forever hooked to Kitaro's music for the rest of my life. I now have lots of Kitaro's music in my collection and whenever I need some Oriental tranquillity and transcendence, Kitaro is my choice!

Kitaro ranks alongside my many favorite traditional, instrumental, and New Age artists and composers: Enya, Moira Brennan, Yanni, Kenny G, Vangelis, Yiruma, the Fletcher Brothers, Brunuhville, Loreena McKennitt, Ryuchi Sakamoto to name a few. I've been listening to his music since my college days in the 90s. His music is transcendental and divine.

he the best i know, Kitaro knows how to play more an 150 + musical instruments most of which are japanese style. a very talanted artist and love hime so much his music is soothing to the heart and a kind energy is felt ! he learned on his own too did not goto special schools to learn his magic art!
