Mike, Great Video! A lot of work too! In My Humble Opinion, I personally would never leave the old hoses on the car. After going through ALL of THIS WORK to gain access, I would DEFINITELY REPLACE ALL OF THE HOSES. ;-) Regards, Jack

I did this job today and i didnt take off the tire, the engine mount, or the windshield wiper box . What i did was remove the brackets holding the 2 pipes together then i put them both in separately through the bottom actually pretty easily. After they were in there i put the brackets back on the pipes and screwed them in .

great demonstration! Would like to see the lower intake gasket replacement on the 3.3 & 3.8 that commonly leaks towards the front of the vehicle near the ignition coil. also the soft aluminum rear ac lines corrode and leak underneath near the rear of vehicle. thought id ask! thanks

If you just take 20 mins and remove the wiper motor box assy you don't have to mess with lowering the engine. Makes it real easy to remove and replace the tubes.

Is it possible to just change the top hose? I see metal tube that crimps around it.

Great Video. Not sure why you removed the front tire and inside wheel housing covers.

My 05 dgc sxt 3.8 v6 is leaking at the coupling/reducer hose connections... I hope I can find another c/r without replacing the whole assy....big headache as you display... I hit a deer a few weeks ago so I had to replace radiator and a.c. condenser and both cooling fans... I got them in so after that noticed antifreeze smell and been having to add coolant to the overflow jug every other day... so tonight it was smoking and I could see the coupling/reducer pieces leaking.. I think it between the core hose and the coupler... the other end reducer connecting to assy is ok. BUT I have NOT noticed the fans coming on ?

Looks like yours were replaced at some point already. Your old ones are a newer part number. My 2007 came with crimped hoses from factor and it was a nightmare. Also how is there so much space down below? My bottom hoses are pinned behind the exhaust and ac lines 😭

The inlet tube was too hard to put in housing but friend got it in now it's leaking where it goes in the housing unit could it be bent or does it need a gasket or something
