Bad Apple!! but it's only the motion and my code is broken [FLASHING LIGHTS WARNING!]

So I had an idea for my own take on Bad Apple. I got the code working, but right before I fixed all the bugs, something interesting happened. The bugs actually looked much cooler than my intended result! I'm happy to share this rainbow nightmare with you all!

I put a lot of effort into the subtitles. Let me know if they are off at all.

For those who care, the original idea was to use a dense optical flow algorithm to show only the movement of the edges in the video, with colors corresponding to the direction and the brightness corresponding to the speed. I initially planned to simply make the "movement only" effect, where only the moving edges were visible. However, I accidentally mixed up a few variable names, and then something close to what you see in the video happened! I thought it was awesome, so I ran with it and made it even more trippy.

I really like this aesthetic. Sorry it's an accident. The comforting hollow chaos of television static, but much, much gayer. Moving in waves, the lights seem to have a memory, like oil on water. Stunning. I love this.
