As unbelievably fast as she is, she looks so relaxed and almost slow while doing it.

I have watched her from the beginning and am still amazed by her ability to find another peak year after year. She, and Gabby have been my go to girls for some time now

Truly, the most accurate embodiment of the term “Generational Talent”.

Most fans don't know Sidney is very relaxed and really funny when she's not on the track.

I used to send my daughters Sydney's high school training videos. They are incredible and shows how mentally tough she is...awesome

Dominance Score... Brilliant! I'd love to see you do an episode just like this on every major meet. Thanks, SoCalFreddy

She's the best you can tell her training has really paid off. Thanks B C.. San Pedro

Luv your content. No one covers T & F the way you do. That "dominant score" thing is a little confusing. But I like the Grand Slam concept. About time the sport got the attention it deserves in non Olympics years.

She finishes the race and she’s not even breathing heavy. She’s absolutely amazing.

I have follow track for more than 50 years, and I can say that I have only one time before seen a dominance like Sydney McLaughlin. It is very rare you see athletes like her. She has pushed her event so much for the last 6 seasons. My only complain is that I wished she would compete more than she does atm. I love to see her run.

What else anyone wants to say about her absolutely stunning dominance.
I got nothing to add, we are grateful just to watch her perform!
I am waiting to see her break the 50 seconds barrier in the 400 hurdles. It’s going to happen this year.

Sydney is the face of track and field today, just as Usain Bolt was. She is the only one who can generate a following for a track meet by herself. Usain Bolt, when he was running, was the only other runner I would say that about.

I'm not the typical hater. I don't use to add noise and unnecessary negativity. I just want to say I wasn't excited by the format and didn't enjoy this event as much as I do Diamond League events. It's always good for the sport to have more events and coverage, and for the athletes to get bigger rewards.

Having said that, I really miss the field events here. I mean, in between 2 races there's nothing going on but interviews and replays. So having more races and less field "boring" events doesn't make it more dynamic per se, but the opposite, in my mind.

And I don't see the need for participating in 2 types of races. Most people are specialists and only do well on one, and we have seen some very unbalanced races, which seemed more a decathlon race than a real one, where a couple of runners where so ahead that the rest didn't fit in the scene. Also, some strange tactics developed, like making second or third is ok because you still win the combined event. This is also more like a combined sport like Decathlon, which feels a bit weird for racing.

Finally, there were several repetitions of the same event, and sometimes you don't get the best athletes competing one another. For instance, you could have Sherika Jackson running 100-200 and Gabby Thomas 200-400 and they wouldn't race in the same 200.

I watched Sydney fail to qualify for the 400 meter hurdles in the Rio Olympics when she was 17. Now shes the world record holder in several events. Its amazing to see how great she has become. definitely God given talent.

I just wish these slam track meets would have better production value. It's like looking at footage from 2008.

And she's a very nice, relaxed, sweet young woman. I got to meet her and her husband at the Baltimore Washington International Airport, and I have a picture of me with her somewhere around here.

Watching SML run the 400mH is getting a bit mundane, but hats off to her for her incredible talent. Nonetheless I really hope that she runs the Long Sprints at the next GST to give the fans something to really pay attention to... imagine SML, MP, GT and SEN in the same race?!

I would like to see her try a triple, 200, 400, and 400H.

I'd say she'll run the 400mH this season through the 2025 World Championships with some side ventures doing open 400m and 200m races (maybe in the next Grand Slam meets?). Why not get one more World Champ title while you've got the chance? Next year is 'open' with no big championship races so I wouldn't be surprised if she switches up and concentrates on the open 400m and maybe some 200m races (a 200m/400m double at the Grand Slam meets?), maybe even try for that long-standing 400m world record.
