H.A. Brorson - Den yndigste rose er funden

Показать описание
A traditional Christmas song from Denmark composed in 1732 by H.A. Brorson.
On December 3rd 2020 ensemble Globus Music gathered in St Andrew's Anglican church in the heart of Moscow to create a special Christmas Gift, a concert of beloved festive music. Recorded in just 1 take the concert combines well-loved Christmas carols from around the world with masterpieces by G.F. Handel and H.I.F. von Biber from the Baroque era.
When planning this concert, we chose to focus on the figure of Christ. Traditionally, he is a symbol of hope. Christmas songs are full of ‘tidings of great joy’ and ‘good news’. After such a difficult year, a bit of good news, whether you believe in Christ or not, is more than welcome!
