No, Thailand doesn't need Kra Canal. It has two deep sea ports on either side of the Kra Isthmus.

First of all this is important for Thailand! This nation could connect it's east coast (Krung Thep) with it's west coast (Phuket) for ships. Ships from the east coast would reach India and the Middle East much faster. India and China would profit, too. But this is only secondary priority.

why not build it. i rode a scooter across this location a half dozen times, very few people. the dirt could be used to make hill area's flat and useful. the first trip i was amazed when a crossed a bridge to see a 400 foot long ship in the river at a point i thought was hundreds of feet up in the mountains. 3 miles later i was at the ocean and realized it was flat and the mountains are actually low, just a bit hilly and that thai weed was pretty good. have the thai army design it and build it . get equipment builders to be partners and keep cost low.

Thailand doesn't need any canal, all it needs to lay railway bridges and roads to connect the two deep sea ports (Phuket and Songkhla deep sea ports) to become an International Trade Hub.

The construction of a canal was dumped long ago and instead Thailand had constructed two deep sea ports on either side of the Cra Isthmus.

Don't bore us more with such rejected videos!

It’s just another failed project that is ultimately going to fall into the hands of the Chinese Communist Party to be used for their military agenda. What bridge for containers trucks?? ONE serious accident on it and there will be a MASSIVE JAM causing a LONGER DELAY than those ships that just simply sail through Singapore. Not to mention the offloading and on loading time it takes.. 😂
