Good presentation. Looking forward to delivery of our max pack R1T to tow our 28’ Airstream. Our travel schedules are relaxed and flexible (retired couple) and we’ve owned EV’s for 5 years, so range planning is not fearful. Planning charging around meals, shopping and the occasional night in a RV park will not be stressful. Bypassing diesel pumps will be a pleasure.

Terrific show. You have knowledge many of us do not - the immense detail involved in towing a trailer with an EV! This is all new information as EV's become more popular and yes, what you already know helps the rest of us. And thank you.

I live in southwest pa. WV honestly has no ccs charging. Need tesla to open up. My camper is small over 3500 lbs but a box. Love the content

Great video as always by you guys. Do you know if the Rivian Adventure Network or charging networks in general are planning to have a good percentage be pull-through chargers? Thanks.

Just found your channel and love your videos. So informative. Thank you. I was wondering, what is your r1t configuration? We originally ordered a quad motor max pack with all terrain tires but quad max wont be available for a long time. So our option is to wait for the dual enhanced max pack (who knows when we will actually get one with 4/2022 order date). Or get the quad large pack within 4 months. So my questions are: did you get the all terrain tires for snow or towing? I live in california and go to lake tahoe once in a while but can pretty much pick better weather days to travel. Seems those tires significantly decrease range by 10-15%
What do you think is more important, maximum hp and torque or maximum range for towing and vacationing with the airstream? We have a 25’ international on order.

Appreciate all of the content. It is very helpful. Do you or anyone you have connected with have any range data for smaller trailers? I am thinking of the nucamp tab 400/300, airstream basecamp, or freesolo. I understand those trailers won't work for a lot of folks but they are 'more' aerodynamic and weigh less. Thanks.

Good video guys. I'm not an RV person but it was interesting that aerodynamics is a big factor in towing with an EV. Thanks for sharing.

Airstreams are expensive trailers. I'd like to know some actual statistics about how much better range they provide.

Great video! Specific question: do the Lightning and R1T reliably get you 120 miles of range while towing? I tow an Airstream BaseCamp 20X with my Tundra, and my MPG hit is about 33% at 65mph (from 15mpg at 65mph without, down to 10 - yeesh). I know I’d need to get the Extended Range battery for the Lightning, and for the R1T I’d really like to go with the same AT’s y’all run.

I know range is impacted by weather, grade, aero of RV, etc. that’s why I’m asking for reliably getting to 120 with your airstream (I know on paper both should be able to get to 140-150). 120 miles would handle the majority of my use cases. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

imo, you should still pick a relatively aerodynamic trailer regardless. better fuel economy for an ICE and better efficency for EVs. but also make sure it fits what use you are gonna get out of it

I can't watch this. The Three Things to do is, don't do it, don't do it, don't do it!
