“We’ve come a long way…” US outgoing Prez Joe Biden’s emotional speech at White House

US President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden hosted a dinner on the South Lawn of the White House on November 22. In a speech to attendees, Biden lauded the achievements of his administration and thanked his supporters, saying that "serving as president of the United States has been the honor of my life.” Biden will conclude his White House tenure on January 20, 2025, as the oldest American president.
