Due to its small size and population it 9:18 stays out of the limelight.I have worked and lived in a number of countries around the world I always thought Nigeria was the most corrupt country I had worked and lived in.Unfortunately my opinion has changed without doubt St Lucia due to its small population and size and being the controlling body of the Caribean high Court the administration of the country has no accountability honesty integrity principles or law in place and this is the way they want to keep it .I could explain why but if you put a little thought into it its self evident.Its time some world body looked into what's going on in St Lucia the admin is destroying the island 9:18

These lists and rankings always seem to have a deep pro-Western bias. I’m an American and I can admit that. Take the Freedom House Index for example. They give extremely high scores to all the Western countries, moderate scores to South American countries, and very low scores to nearly every country in Africa and Asia except Japan and South Korea, which just so happen to be top allies of ours, so they automatically get a pass. Do Asian and African countries have problems? Yes. Every country does to one extent or another. My point is that Western countries will often turn a blind eye to their own corruption and then lecture African, Asian or Middle Eastern countries about their corruption, which is sometimes aided and abetted by Western governments and is itself a byproduct of Western imperialism and colonialism.

For the record, if you are reading this, Leroy, I’m not directing any of this at you. I love your work and you are one of the inspirations for me turning to Islam, Sufism more specifically. My anger is directed at organizations that measure these sorts of statistics and data and skew it to make it look like Western countries are SO much better than other countries when we have our own problems with corruption, inequality, poverty, social unrest, environmental disasters and a whole lot more.

Out of these countries mostly or maybe all had been sanctioned by the US unilaterally. The reason is not corruption but sanctions which imposed by the US had made life a hell for civilians.
