I rotational grazed for 40 a pasture is vegetative a cow will not eat grain or any other forage. They will stand in the yard balling ! Its where the profit the grass / field !
Local farmers always asked me..how can you afford to have 10000 dollar an acre land in pasture ? Well.... when you can capture a milk check in two weeks for 12000 dollars.... go figure ???? And that comes as dollars !
