"Fifteen, pissed and foolish". I could not think of a better response if given a year to work on it.

The most original sounding debut album I ever heard. The anthem of my youth, being 18 in 1990 I heard and watched it all happen. Love them or hate them, they inspired a full generation of people and changed the face of music. 🌍

I only just rediscovered this song after over 5 years, had completely forgotten about it. I wouldn't usually comment my story, but i thought it was fascinating how different it was to most people commenting. I'm only 22 years old and not from England, not even the UK, but from Guatemala. When i was like 6-7 years old, my dad gifted me his PSP along with all his games including a peculiar World Tour Soccer, which i can only assume came with the console because my dad doesn't watch football at all. The soundtrack included this song, which at the time I could only vibe to since i didn't know English so i had no idea what it said or what it was about. But I loved it, and that game was one of the main reasons i became such a big and knowledgeable football fan, but eventually I'd barely find time to play because of school and other things. 4 years ago, when I moved to the US to study I decided to bring the PSP with me, but college made sure it remained untouched until 2 days ago. The moment the game loaded and the music started playing i was instantly transported back: 7 year old me with the little blue backpack full of toys and my PSP. Now I looked up the song (and the lyrics), and it's almost like music comes back to you when you least expect it and when it makes the most sense. There's a slight sense of longing that even if I knew the lyrics i wouldn't have connected to until now. Fantastic song

Ian's IQ is literally stomping the interviewer into the ground

He’s totally trolling her. British Interviewers were the absolute worst. It was like they took Journalists from the most conservative places to do interviews of rock stars. He seems embarrassed that the questions are so stupid.

There's much about Ian that would suggest that he's a born-again Evangelical Christian...

It is such an awkward interview, both John and Ian are so shy here, like naughty school kids.
