Sony moving the SSU from live action to animation only outside of MCU movies is probably the best case scenario. Smaller budgeted R-rated animated Venom projects sounds like a good choice. They keep fumbling the bag with live action movies but are excelling with animation.

For those who like no like do you know the projects that Seth Rogen have produced? He produce many projects like Preacher, Mutant mayhem, Invincible and The Boys like say whatever you think about Rogen as an actor but to say he’s not a great producer is wrong.

I really don't like the Venom movie's because of how they made Eddie Brock get the symbiote compared to how he got it in the comic books.

Honestly Seth Rogen has produced very legitimate comic book movies/tv shows. That being said, a venom reboot doesn’t really much sense.

Sony is Not Gonna Continue Making Spiderman Movies Anymore

I’m hoping that the Venom r rated animated reboot uses the sci-fi horror aspect that the first film was supposedly originally gonna be or take inspiration from the short film Truth in journalism which has Eddie & Symbiote in a sociopathic anti-hero/villain.

I’m definitely more confident in a R rated animated Venom reboot than the current live action trash like Madame Web and possibly that Kraven movie that’s only R rated to hide a terrible movie. And also to differentiate from the current Venom films which are formulaic watered down trash that are guilty pleasures at the very least but don’t do Venom nor Carnage justice. Especially Carnage who definitely isn’t a family friendly character and shouldn’t be censored.

Sony has their Spider-man trinity(Toby Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland)now there getting a venom trinity(Topher Grace, Tom Hardy, and the new guy to potray Eddie Brock(and maybe doing the voice for venon)(who we dont know yet)

Seth has been a part of 3 comic based projects with Invincible, The Boys, and TMNT so I have no fear at hearing that he’s a part of this animated Venom movie.

Wait and see. On one hand, I don't like what Sony did with the Venom movies. They were ok-ish, at best. But they ruined Venom as a proper Spiderman villain - which he should have been. I hate them for that.

But Sony's animation is a big question mark. They nailed Spiderverse. Maybe Venom will be related to that in some way?

When will Sony learn that Venom only works long term with Spidey in the mix. Without Spiderman Venom lacks a purpose and it becomes boring after a while.

Rumor has it that Seth Rogen was involved in Invincible, TMNT, and The Boys as well and I did not know that’s literally crazy, I Hope Seth Rogen makes a Dark Rated R Venom film which is fascinating and I’m gonna enjoy watching it when it comes out.
