I bought the first ipad pro in 2018…and right now 6 years later…it still works as if I just bought it yesterday. Yes, a resounding yes…I will buy this latest ipad Pro and skip the Air, as I’m gonna be using this for the next 6 years or more…as it is built future proof for whatever the technology that will be coming..the strong point is the screen. A big jump from led screen to Oled screen? Yes please….😀😀😀😀👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

i want to see the performance difference between the 11inch m2 with 4 efficiency cores and 256gb vs the m4 256gb. 3performance cores vs 4 annoys me and I would want to know if it in reality makes any difference and if it does, how much because at that point it's only a question, oled or mini led. also the disk performance between the models would be interesting.
because on paper and the knowledge of apple practices of downgrading the first 'pro' models. i wonder if it's really any point in getting the m4 pro or if the m2 performs just as well or maybe even better in some cases when it comes to pre 1tb versions.

I would buy the iPad Pro M4 because for some reason my 11 in. iPad Pro 2nd gen is slowing down and having random crashes. I want to be able to keep it for more than 6 years and not have to worry about it like I am now.

Believe it or not, I’d rather have an iPad that was heavier. It just feels more heavy duty. Honestly, I have enough money to buy an iPad and I’m looking to upgrade but I’m not sure whether to go for the iPad Pro M4 or the iPad Pro M2. The m2 has two cameras and looks more premium but the m4 is thin and has an outstanding display and better keyboard.

Correction: the M2 12.9” iPad Pro does up to 40W of wired charging through the USB-C port. I see this regularly on my cable and charger that gives charge rates. I’m not quite sure where you got the 20W number unless you meant the power brick that came with it. If so you should probably clarify that.

Shouldn’t you compare the 256gb pricing of the iPad Pro m2 at launch with the 256gb pricing of m4 iPad Pro? Weren’t they the same price ?

Its a great device now with more powerful M2 chipset but I'm still willing to risk it and wait for the Mini and 11th generation ipad,
My reasons:
For Mini:
1) Mini is easy to handle around in campus and can take on also
2)Its cheap yet efficient
3)Got a A15 bionic (in previous 2022 gen) so it may be a M1 or A17 chipset coming this time
4)Not so expensive, and I can save up enough for it till next year
For ipad 11 generation:
1)Less costly
2)Got a nice screen space
