Before delving into the Justice Department's FY 2020 budget request, Rep. Nita Lowey, D-N.Y., chair of the House Appropriations Committee, told U.S. Attorney General William Barr that she wanted to address his "unacceptable handling" of special counsel Robert Mueller's report. "All we have is your four-page summary, which seems to cherry pick from the report to draw the most favorable conclusion possible for the president," she said. "The American people deserve the facts."
