Golf 7 R Facelift + Akrapovic - DRIVE & SOUND!

Today I can present to YOU the full DRIVE & SOUND of the facelifted 2018 Volkswagen Golf 7 R fitted with the optional Akrapovic exhaust out of the OEM price page. To answer your question up front, NO, this car doesn't have the OPF (Otto-Partikel-Filter) yet, this comes with the MY19 and we don't know how it will affect the sound. This version definitely sounds a lot stronger than the Golf 7 R we tested last year with the regular exhaust and if will lease this car the 3.800 EUR optional price for this option aren't a problem anymore. 9 months ago I customized a Golf R, with the performance pack, titanium exhaust ect. it came to £45, 000 ... for a Golf! I assume that if you're looking at the R, you're looking for performance! However for £45K you can get a second hand M4, GT-R, RS5, TT-RS, 911 ... but if you like the idea of a Golf ... go for it!

I have this exact car; white mk7.5 with Akrapovic exhaust and black Pretoria wheels. Mine also has the Dynaudio stereo and 340mm brakes. What a car.
