There are too many characters that are underrated.

Personally, I think that RoenxDaniel ship is a bit underrated. It’s a sunken ship that almost made me cry. Roen sacrificed herself for her team (mostly Daniel imo). Daniel even tried to resurrect and partner up with the “devil” to bring her back alive

Xia Xia because she almost kills Khun, almost manipulates Baam into killing Ran and Novick, indirectly forces Ran and Novick to cooperate with FUG, helps a lot in the workshop battle when she betrays FUG, establishes the 4 lords of FUG, subsequently giving Rak his title “Real Monster from a banana farm”, breaking the repetitive chain of calling Rak an alligator, creates a wig for Baam to wear if he needs to (begrudgingly) be Jue Viole Grace again, and in every of her appearances, she reminds us about the importance of having money.

One should also not forget, that Love gave Bam his most used and probably one of his most useful abilities. His Blue Oar, later evolving into the wings, gave Bam one of the imo basic ranker skills. Almost all Rankers we have seen fighting can fly, while only very few Regulars were ever seen flying.
Even if it was indirect, Love had a MASSIVE inpact on the story.

There are too many interesting characters so everyone will end up underrated at some point. I would have liked multiple series in this universe where we could see different protagonists and their climbing and story

I love the lore behind Quant’s advertisements. He apparently got tricked by Hasung Yu to sign over his rights when he became an admin.

I think Chang might be alive thanks to a single image at the end of the Yama arc when they were discussing countermeasures to Yasratcha.

Theory, Phantaminum is behind it all:


As you well know Phantaminum is the creator of ToG's "Story", and although he has never appeared in the series there is a reason why SIU leaves us information about him, the clues.


1.The "God of the Outskirts"

When Enryu went to kill the guardian of the 43rd floor, he said that "The god from the outskirts" sent him, and when Jahad killed Arlen's baby, the "God from the outskirts" revived him, but that child was not Arlen's son, he was a monster, Bam. Also, the death of the guardian was only an act to show people the power of the irregular, and to leave the thorn that should be used by a child to destroy the Jahad, a weapon with the power to kill a guardian, abandoned in a dead floor, only for the chosen one to find her, all planned from the start.


2. "the castle massacre"

This is the only confirmed appearance of Phantaminum, when she broke into Jahad's castle and killed everyone in her path, except Yuri Ha, at that time Yuri was nothing more than a defenseless girl and when they asked her why Phantaminum did not kill her, He did not answer, but years later that decision triggered the current events, if Yuri had died there, Bam would not have passed the second floor, the last station would not have passed and many other things. Agree with everything you said in this video, especially with Goseng I love that personality she has, she accompanied Miseng from the beginning, she stayed to wait for Horyang to wake up and she stayed to wait for Wangnan and Miseng, She is a very underrated character who deserves more prominence, I would like see more about Goseng and Horyang in the future.

Despite there being MORE than a few dozen of characters in this entire webtoon, SIU has managed to make every. single. character unique and lovable (and hated of course). No character is left without a purpose, big or small. I'm only rereading Season 2 BECAUSE there are so many characters that I need refreshing on haha

Or SIU could use my theory that Goseng is an undercover ranker from Miseng's secret family and this whole time she just pretended to be weak...

Dan is such a great I hated Rachel even more after what she did to him glad he didn't let that bring him down and still worked hard, and yes My girl Goseng deserves more love!! I wonder how she would react upon hearing about Prince and Arkaraptor :'(
