I won't hold my breath. For the sanity and in-actions of the those of the crucial voting voting blocks for the political sectors. You know what I mean. The voters that the political class has always pandered to. And have made them the crucial elements to keeping power. Of whom there is little to no urgency or even awareness of urgency. Until that happens and the conservatives and right wing acknowledge the preeminent threat to us collectively globally. Then we will face exstintion. The only other solution is to open violence against the elite criminal class that has and uses every dirty, sneaky, deceptive, malicious, and often times brutally open violence to quell decent.

Sounds excellent. Moving past fossil fuels and a must. Makes no sense that we live in a world where billions of us go around with mini computers in their pockets that can be used to connect to anyone in the world instantly and yet we can't think of another way to run cars or factories. It's ridiculous, if we put the right amount of government money and drive into R&D for a green industrial revolution we could completely transform the very fundamentals of energy.
