How to combine photos in Photoshop with Layer Masks, seamless blending technique

Hi Colin you are a life saver, I have subscribed to others channels who say they will teach you how to use Photoshop but for whatever reason their videos just don't seem to sink in. Then I watched one by you and you have a way of explaining how to do things with Photoshop and it all becomes a lot clearer and by also offering written tutorials I am finally starting to no longer be scared of using my Photoshop CS5 Extended V 12.1 x 64 on Windows 7 to make my photos look better, but not being worried of ruining them by doing something that can't be undone. I'm a freelance writer, last year i sort of stumbled into photoshop in order to create higher quality written pieces. Having never had formal photoshop training i started with your basic cut & paste, slowly discovering other editing tools along the way.

I usually dont like to watch tutorials because they use fancy jargon and jump into applications like a pro... i deeply appreciate that you took your time to explain the fundamentals and define the tools for us novices, i definately learnt so many new things and i will be subscribing and watching more of your tutorials!
