Shriekers only spawn wardens if it’s heard from a sculk sensor 3 times, hence “3 strikes = a warden spawn in the deep dark”

For a Warden to spawn, the shriekers need to be naturally placed. You can make them "naturally placed" with le holy Debug Stikk.

Just so you know, shriekers only work if they spawn naturally in ancient cities. You can tell because of the brightness and rotation speed of the little souls in the middle. That's why there weren't any wardens ;)

Shriekers require sensors to activate. The shrieker basically detects sound. If you make too much sound, maybe like a whole 2-5 minutes of it, it sends a message to the sensor to say, "hey they're being too loud, spawn in the warden" but without anything to send the message to, it just continues to make an annoying "shriek" sound.

The reason no wardens are spawning is because there are 2 “types” of shreikers, ones that spawn wardens and ones that don’t. Those are the ones that don’t. You can use a debug stick to change between the types. The only visible difference is the soul things in the middle.
