Btw, not too many people are aware but Vaders facemask is not entirely black.
The majority is actually a gun metal.
Only a few panels on the face are black.
It was originally intended to be all black, but while filming his face was completely lost because it was so dark, so they made modifications.

If you go online you can find the color pattern.

Great build. I've had this kit for a while and it does look good once complete. The two outer cape sections are a pain as they fall off with out much prompting. Certainly the best 1/12 scale Dark Lord of the Sith available.

Still one of my all-time favorite Sith. I think my only point of contention with the kit would be how they engineered his cape to fit together; it seems like it would have worked better in just two pieces or just provide a fabric cape. The finished model still looked nice though.

Looks great. One thing I did to mine that I think worked out well is that I attached real fabric to the skirt and the two pieces on the sides of the torso with spray adhesive. It needs to be pretty thin fabric to conform to the ripples in the plastic.

god that vader looks so sick, i cant even imagine the time in this, i wish i had patience to paint to perfection! maybe one day...in heaven when god grants me patience...paint...and a bandai kit...

I like the Bandai models, and this one is no exception .Nice kit! My only comment about this one might be that the scale seems a bit odd. Can't put my finger on it, though. Still very nice kit. Not to mention your steady hand at the details. Regards, Solomon
