One of my fathers favorite artist. I really loved the song "Hold On To What You've Got." Being a 70's child "I Got Cha" and "Ain't Gonna Bump No More With No Big Fat Woman" were two other songs I liked by him. Remember him performing it on Soul Train. No, I never knew about the J. All I remember as a little boy in Meridian Ms, Joe Tex got the most airplay of any R&B singer. WQIC radio loved them some Joe Tex. I actually thought he was from Meridian as much as they used to play him in the early '70's. Joe was the man. Much respect to him and you for giving us this documentary of him.
