Selfie stick dont work with Samsung Galaxy S3

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 that wouldn't work with my selfie stick I bought. It was just a cheap less than $5 one from Wal-Mart. I downloaded the Pro Capture Free. Went into the app. Pressed the menu button(which is just three square dots in a vertical line) in the top right corner. Went to Preferences. Scrolled down to the Audio Volume Buttons. And chose Use For Photo Capture. That worked for me! In order to take either a regular picture or a forward facing camera picture you also use the three vertical menu dots in the top right corner to Switch Camera.

Hello Guys,

The Galaxy S3 has an older Android version and the Selfie Stick will not work with the standard camera app.
However there is a solution for the Galaxy S3.
Please go to Google Play and search for Camera 360. This is a free app and it works very well with the Galaxy S3. I tried & its working fine.

you have to go to the settings on your camera and then go to setting image then go to volume key and click on it the click the camera key and the button will start working on your Samsung

once you brng up the camera go to tge settings icon & one that screen opens then go to the settings icon on this screen then once the next sreen opens go to the settings icon again then find volume button category & set it

Just do it in WhatsApp. It works... Send the selfi to your best friend -D

you need to change setting in your camera then the selfie stick should work fine. set camera button as the volume button under camera settings

I have a galaxy 3 can't seem to get my selfie too worknkeeps saying zoom in or out in this mode
