I had the impression the A team would be a team of up and coming players, but look at how many senior Springboks were in it - Etzebeth, de Klerk, Am, Kolbe, Kitshoff are those I could easily identify watching from my oh well, guess the Springboks needed an extra practice match seeing as it's close to 2 years without a Test match....

LMAO Lions fans seething, yes, this was our 2nd String team. We had 7 players who were world cup winning that were out of the squad, due to covid. If they all played it would've been twice as physical. We also had a debutant and combinations that hadn't played together.

The southern hemisphere teams should celebrate the occasion by hosting the Lions and celebrating the sport., After all the (British) introduced this wonderful sport to all us that we all love and enjoy.
