TRANSCRIPT
You thought you cooked your turkey perfectly but when you go to carve the white meat it's dried out, not juicy, but don't worry; your turkey's not ruined. There's an easy solution. Slice the turkey breast into serving pieces. Dip them into some warm chicken stock. Lay them out on your serving platter and then put some gravy over the top. The meat will be juicy and your guests will never know that you overcooked the turkey.

@Justwosweet Dont knock it till you've tried it, This actually works really well. although I would dip them for more then the 2 seconds they show in the video. Also a good way to keep meat warm before you serve it.

@lizzay127 a simple cornstarch slurry is all you need to thicken gravy. You can google it, they are extremely easy to do.

In addition to being an excellent personal lubricant, goat butter would solve this problem as well.

@dieselboy914 Chicken stock is more likely to be had. Most folks don't have turkey stock laying around.

Can I just slow-cook the turkey for 4hrs in gravy?

You can never really reclaim overcooked breast meat, but the stock thing will work in a pinch.
Turkey is hard to do well.
I generally cover the top of the bird for the first hour with butter, herbs and foil.
It allows the bottom of the bird to catch up.

dried out meat feels like sawdust in my mouth. Wet dried out meat feels like wet sawdust. If I dip beef jerky in beef stock and cover it in gravy does it turn back into a steak? I am highly skeptical of this, and a bad cook. I'm sure I'll get a chance to try it.

@lizzay127 It's roux.
A rue is a street.
Sorry to be pedantic, but it's important.

@Libbersons Chicken stock is different from broth but it pretty much makes no difference in this case.

lol, this tip makes no sense? How long do you put it in the stock? If you just dip it, it wont change anything lol

Aahh so instead of taking the upmost precaution and care in your mealtime execution, you deceive your guests instead of treat them accordingly...

It's a pretty good
