Great trick! Ever since I was a little kid my dad always preached about having a spare key hidden somewhere underneath your car. Remember elk hunting one year in the snow and got back to the truck and discovered the key locked inside... He told me where to crawl underneath the truck (in the snow) and get the hidden key. A friend recently locked his keys in his truck and had to call a locksmith. Upon completion of opening his truck the lock Smith recommended this: sand down a small area on the frame, use blue painters tape and tape over key completely, take a can of under coating and spray over key is hidden and protected from elements and unless you know where to look you'll never see it, unlike a magnetic box.
I thought that was a neat trick.

Auto Body 39 years.... I keep 2 Plastic chain saw wedges and a Long Rod bent special at each end in my Car and Truck... Go in from the top of the door using the wedges carefully to make a wide gap then use the Long Rod... Helped many people over the years

I was making a delivery to a Cadillac dealer and they were having trouble with a car that they had locked the keys in. The manager asked me to see if I could open it. They had been trying for a couple of hours with a slim jim. I had it open in a few seconds. I noticed that the back door wasn't locked so I opened the back door and unlocked the front. I took the keys in and tossed them on the desk. I never told them it wasn't locked. Why make them feel stupid when I could make myself look awesome?

We pry the top of the door fram with a plastic wedge then we put in an airbag it has a hand pump on it, pump it up and the top window fram pays open about 2.5-3inches then we get in with a flexible wire to hit the button or pull the handle

My man, my wife locked the keys in the expedition, I opened the door in less than 15 minutes in the dark even with tinted windows. It worked without the skip knot! Floss was a little flimsy so It took 7 tries but was faster than road assistance with NO DAMAGE! The knot without slip just required tension and a snug pull. I appreciate you and this video.

After once being locked out, when I had the locksmith over, had them cut a blank non security key for the door to keep in my wallet. Next time was open wallet, open door. Grab the key with the security chip and start the car to cancel the alarm. If you use a hide a key, ensure it is just a metal blank, not a security key so the vehicle immobilization will not work for a thief that potentially finds a hide a key box. This is good at preventing someone from driving away with the vehicle if they find the key.

i always buy like 5 keys and tie one key under the car, put one in my wallet, one at home on the fridge etc..5 bucks saves a LOT of trouble

I carry a spare key in my wallet and I have one screwed to the underneath of my truck.

I locked myself out of my car once while it was running. It has a button that locks and unlocks the door. I knew if I could get something to slip down in the window; it would open it. I saw a guy pull up in a truck with a big tool box in back. I went up to him and said, " Do you have a tool that is long and hard I could borrow?" The look on his wife's face was priceless! Anyway, they helped me after they found out what was going on.
