1 taken into custody after crashing ATV into Detroit police cruiser

Detroit police are working to find those involved in riding ATVs and dirt bikes on city streets after one rider crashed into a police cruiser.

These mfrs are rippin down every street from downtown to a 30 mile radius in every suburb neighborhood street. It's bs what are these cops doin? I could pop one every day

All of those off-road dirt bike quads etc. and they were only able to get one guy. I don’t blame the cops, that’s a lot of work trying to stop those people. It just goes to show you how ineffective the police are. The police are minutes away when seconds count. There isn’t enough of a deterrent in the law right now to persuade them to not do this. Don’t tell me they came from out of town and drove or rode into rush hour traffic, don’t tell me they trailered the machinery there, they live there and the cops still can’t catch them.

Detroit police chief needs to check his facts. Many counties in Michigan they are legal on the roadways. Each county has their own Laws on ORV’s (off road vehicles). Wayne county they may not be aloud but it definitely isn’t the whole state like he said.

I used to ride my yellow chopper in the neighborhood Mini bike why not help find them somewhere to ride it Or at least try to educate them On safety!!
