Walked from San Diego to Santa Barbara (excepting the Marine Base-Camp Pendleton). Some of that was along the beach. I just happened to decide to scale the cliffs and there was the Salk Institute. Looked in a window once and there was a medical personnel attending a patient with a trechiotomy. Steam rising out. Had an opportunity to meet President Nixon. Declined. I was arrested at LAX on PCH for watching the planes land and take off. They let me go after an overnight at Santa Monica. Gave me some sandwiches. Life goes on without me and within me. I'm sure I won't be missed.
