I really enjoyed House of Bad Memories. I’ll be curious to hear your thoughts on it. You didn’t hijack The Dark Tower idea! You’re helping to motivate me to read the whole series! I just finished the second book, what a wild one! Thank you for the shout out.☺️📚

Great video Jason! So glad the weathers starting to warm up! I have heard House of Bad Memories being mentioned on Booktube before, and it does sound very dark. The Mind Worms looks and sounds insane! I will definitely be keen to join in your Dark Tower Podcast, love Syn's channel. I still need to read Gemma Amor, Feral sounds like my kind of story. As an ex field guide, I am very at home in the wild. 📚📚📚

The Three Body Problem! Cool! I finished the trilogy by the end of last year, I think. I loved the first book, the second not so much but it was good, but the third one totally blew my mind. Great stuff awaits you!
And I agree, Syn is awesome :) 📚

Currently reading A Child Alone with Strangers by Philip Fracassi and it's REALLY good. I previously tried on Gothic by the same author and DNF'd it, but this book is 100 times better. You have a kid who was in a terrible accident, who comes back with psychic abilities, gets kidnapped (all of this is in the book summary so no spoilers).. and then there is also a creature feature subplot going on and the creature is great. The best way I can describe it so far is Mimic meets The Dead Zone which is right up my alley.

Jason, just for fun I just finished the questionable banned book from judy blume; are you there god, it's me, Margaret. Why in the heck could someone have a problem with this book...honestly. it's a pretty good book actually. Unbelievable that some people are desperately trying to ban it.

The Fisherman is my favorite book of all-time. Sorry to hear your reread wasn't as enjoyable as your first time. Maybe I'll never reread it🤣 I love Gemma Amor. I'm currently reading her short story collection All Who Wander Are Lost📚

I really enjoyed The Three Body Problem and thought I was on to another great series.. but DNF'd The Dark Forest. The characters are really unlikable, and it was just so boring. I just couldn't deal. Three Body has some pretty problematic aspects as well.. but the story was so engrossing it kept me interested. Dark forest turned all those problems up to 100, with none of the intrigue and action. The science was so fantastical that it really made it hard to suspend disbelief as well.

Jason hon, isn't the author who who wrote the three body problem extremely controversial? I forgot why.
