You should also visit brixton. Every time i’ve been, the friendly residents greet you with some nice phrases, if their masks scare you don’t worry, they just get a bit chilly!

as someone who lives in england, i recommend visiting south london for its scenic monuments and luton for its amazing cleanliness.

Coventry is also really nice. For anyone planning to visit there, I advise wearing a face-warmer, and asking a local also wearing a face-warmer if they want you to "back it out" and if they are "trying to get chinged" this is slang for "do you want me to take out my phone and order a chinese takeout" they will really appreciate you talking in the native dialect and will be really friendly

Croydon (and basically all of south london) is a lovely, beautiful place. The residents are normal and not crazy and they have amazing restaurants....also the best public transport in london

The definitive best UK places are below:
1. Luton
Luton is home to some of the UKs most incredible architecture. The transformative experience will really bring in a new found respect for rundown council housing.
2. Liverpool
Together with Birmingham, Liverpool is home to one of the most elegant accent in the the whole of Europe. Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit.
3. Bradford
Particularly for families, Bradford is a city steeped in history and is one of the safest, friendliest and most welcoming city in the UK. People will stop you on the street just to greet you. Definitely one for the kids.

As a local from originally near Canterbury, I can tell you that the small city is beautiful and worth visiting. Full of history and the high street is worth seeing, once you're passed where the homeless and chavs hangout at the main bus stop end of the town!
