i agree, usually we later on see why changes happen (like with iq losing nades, which was done prior to clash's release to not make IQ too strong against her), but here it's just nonsensical. if you wanna buff thorn as a trap operator, then buff the trap, otherwise keep your hands off the irish lady 😤😤

Only time I’ve ever died to a thorn is when I follow my teammate through a window and they activate the thorn so I have zero time to react. That’s literally the only time.

imo giving her more than 3 razorblooms would make her busted, maybe give her some different secondary gadgets or give her a pocket shotgun to help set up site. But giving her a 1.5x is not the way. Everyone gets a Bailiff now.

I truly believe that it’s some sort of long term (?) strategy, give the 1.5x so the operator pick rate, win delta and kd goes up, and players who would never pick a thorn for example start playing her, maybe find out they enjoy the weapon, learn how to use the gadget and then remove the 1.5x, most gunners would abandon the op but a small % would keep playing the op, so it stays in average with others ops, and the devs don’t need to spend time tweaking the gadget itself, possibly making it too good

That’s why the devs gave tachanka the 1.5 on the smg instead of the lmg, bc you can now make flashier plays with the op

Can we please share this video with the devs . They need to butf her gadget . It’s way to easy to dodge her thorns . Give her more and or cut the detonation. Cutting the time is a must. And then take her 1.5 away and she’s back to being a good pick

I already used thorn a lot this buff was dumb some changes could have been implemented such as
1. Increasing razorbloom count
2. Decreasing timer
3. Allow it to do a small explosion which would create a line of site in a wall
4. Remove the bug where you can place them in walls and some items if you get close (idk if this is just me if this is just client side or what but it happens with a few other ops which throw gadgets I know valk and I think magnet disk boy)

As a person slowly reaching the 1 month marker of playing siege, I definitely need longer thorn timers so my dumbass playing Monty can run away after 17min of not realizing it’s there

This is just going to further contribute to the TDM meta we've fallen into.

Buff utility and encourage people to think while they move round the map as apposed to buffing guns and encouraging us to hunt people down and kill them on defense instead of actually defending the bomb
