One of my favorite moments from my childhood was sitting down to watch the State of Origin with my Dad and muting the TV so we could listen to Roy & HG commentate live through the radio, it was fkn hilarious every time

I miss them doing the Festival of the boot. They used to commentate the AFL and NRL grand finals. We would always turn the real commentary off and listen to them. They would make up hilarious nicknames for the players.

G'day from Australia 🇦🇺, I watched this most night's. After work, These guys are absolutely hilarious together ❤️. Aussie humour at it finest. On the show the Mascot was Fatso " The fat as#ed wombat", anyway in the beginning our Australian's wanted to hold Fatso in their photos 📸. But he was banned after 2 seconds. Because it was not an official Olympic Mascot. But I love ❤️ Australia 🇦🇺. I wore a Fatso t shirt like 15 year's until it finally gave up on me. Fatso was the only Olympic Mascot that mattered! ❤.

I loved watching them back then. every night I watched them when the Olympics were on here in Sydney. I also liked to listen to them on the radio doing the State of Origin series NRL and I turned down the tv as their commentary is crap and while watching it with Roy and HG 😂

We did have that option, with certain cricket matches and footy games. You'd turn the TV volume down and tune in to Triple J on the radio, 107.5, which is simulcast all around Australia, and listen to their commentary. Howzat?
