Comparing the Sony WH-1000XM5 vs 1000XM4 vs Bose QC45

Last year I chose the Bose QuietComfort 45 over the Sony 1000 XM4. But with the new and improved Sony 1000XM5, Will I still pick the QC45 between these three?

hello sir.
I'm getting an option to buy either qc45, or xm4 at 220 usd each, or xm5, at 300usd. which one shall i go with.
my main criteria is ANC and decent sound. I'm not much of an audiophile, so not so particular about the sound. I just require top notch anc to do my work in silence, shut out the world and focus for hours on end with consistent anc

hi! im really looking for least sound leakage as i would like to buy headphones to wear around campus. is either the xm4 or QC45 better, or would you prefer another headset entirely? thanks!

Clearly one stands out as the winner but surely biases hinder the judgment. XM4 easily overall beats both other cans in respect to price to feature ratio.

Wow, thanks so much mate. I currently have the XM5s but I'm thinking about exchanging them for the Bose qc45s for the more consistent ANC (I dislike the sony auto-anc). Do you think that is a wide decision?

I'm still gonna stick with my MX4 since I like the simplify of it design more than the MX5 that looks kinda bold and it is not foldable like its predecessor. But the invisible touch in every Sony headphone type still makes me feel uneasy to use which I have to get used to it for a couple days to fully understand all of it touch features but other than that, Sony headphones's still one of the best headphone type out there in the market, thanks for the review Wilson!

Main question for me - please give an advice - I am stuck between Sony's XM4 & XM5 - I am a biggest music lover and need to have a headphones for a PERFECT sound Quality - with a GOOD ( NOT THE GOOD - JUST EXCELLENT Bass & Treble) Which one would You recommend ? Will not use for calls or something else... Just for daily usages (6-8 hours daily) for a walking with a headphones.... I paid 229.00 for the xm4 today plus got the quietcomfort 1 earbuds for 179.00 today at target as well tomorrow the sell goes off yep i felt like that was like buy one get one free I was out of 400.00 bucks and some change for both and yes I chose the xm4s over soundcore space q45 budget earbuds sound good but it's a fun sound not a premium sound like sony they say sony is a people pleasing sound well what headphones aren't wtf, ☆

You know how people sound terrible when they sing with headphones on? I think the same goes for phone calls. My XM4's with noise canceling are the worst. Is there an app that pipes your voice into the headset? Or a headphone that does this? My Sony link buds are an answer for me, but, my wife(the real problem here) likes them about as much as you do. An over the ear somethin somethin.
