Religious groups protest L.A. Dodgers for honoring drag group at Pride Night

Dozens of demonstrators from Catholic and other religious groups gathered outside Dodger Stadium to protest the team's decision to honor the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, whose members dress in drag as nuns, with a community service award at the Dodgers' annual Pride Night. NBC News' Niala Charles reports.

I used to live in California for almost 40 years ago. I have been so disgusted with how evil California has become. When I heard the sister were going to Dodger Stadium, I wasn't surprised (disappointed but not surprised ) Shame on the freakin Dodgers. I'm so proud of the people in California for not putting up with this evil. When I saw the empty stadium I was shocked and happy and proud at the same time.

This is a shining example of the lies the media tells. It was a prayer circle not a protest. I’m an atheist and even I applaud these folks for standing up against people mocking and demeaning their religion.
