Harry and Meghan: Royal Family racism claims made in explosive Oprah interview | 5 News

► If the hype had been extraordinary then the reality was perhaps even more so. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex unleashed explosive allegations against the monarchy, in last night's American TV interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Among the most troubling were suggestions of racism as they claimed an unnamed royal asked how dark their son Archie's skin might be.

So I came back to this particular scene- right after watching Harry's interview. Because he appears to dismiss that it was racist. However, looking back at Megan's reaction whilst bringing the topic up (both her and Oprah very much thought it was racist). So I'm a bit unsure of what Harry's thoughts are on this...he's quick to say Meghan never used the word 'racist' and used the word 'concerns'..then talks about how all mixed race couples (especially the white side of the family have discussed what their kid would look like?) So my question is was there concerns over how dark the child's skin would be? Or was it a light discussion of 'omg, will the baby have a gorgeous tan that we won't?'

I kinda feel after his comment regarding the whole race thing that him and Meg are going to end up in a heated argument lol. Because clearly whatever was said she thought it was inappropriate but he glazed over it In his interview and thought otherwise.

This was on the BBC this morning. It isn't just a white thing about what colour skin a mixed raced baby has.

I never heard her say racist, but I did hear her say they stated they would deny the child what all the other children were entitled to followed by the comment on the color of the child's skin.

its a good thing prince harry is a good man and he saved her
