Musk called Zuck's understanding of Artificial Intelligence "limited."

It's easy to imagine the world's most powerful people as being mysterious and aloof, but thanks to the wonders of Twitter, we can now regularly witness them being just as petty as the rest of us. Everyone's favorite eccentric billionaire Elon Musk is the latest example of this, publicly slamming Mark Zuckerberg with a tweet stating that the Facebook CEO's understanding of AI "is limited."

Why in the world would a billionaire website developer use a sub par 2megapixel camera for posting things??

Of course Mark Zoucherbourg would be pro AI. The guy made all his billions farming data (spying) from his "customers" using AI bots...

Artificial intelligence already exists; the world is full of people who think they're intelligent.

Mark: “I think AI is the best way to go”
Me: That sounds like something a robot would say

Elon is a full grown adult, and Mark sounds like an elementary school student on this subject.

LOL I'm no hater, myself is a entrepreneur that I admire successful people. But I never liked Mark, his company did nothing for humanity except for stalkers. Elon on the other hand changed humanity with 3 of his companies on a PRACTICAL level. Saving the environment with sustainable energy and getting humanity on another planet. He fought with tears and blood to do what he think is in need for humanity, these two entrepreneurs thinks on a completely different level. AI is sure dangerous, but Elon isn't trying to stop it. Birth of AI is a inevitable, from watching his interview about AI, Musk clearly is saying that people should be extremely careful while programing them.

Musk's intelligence dwarfs Zuckerbergs. Who would you pay more attention to? A guy who made a website that helps you be 'social', or a guy who is literally changing the world with the ideas he is putting into practice.

I don't know much about AI.. But just on gut feeling alone, something about Mark that makes me don't trust him. When Musk speaks about the subject, he seems authentic and honest about the true devastating potential of AI. Mark gives trained corporate answers.

I recommend Robert Miles's youtube channel for start - Musk is absolutely right and we really have to be extremely smart about going after super AI.

Dumb statements:
2010: there is no Alien life or earth like planet
2017: AI has not the potential to be dangerous

Totally siding with Elon on this. I was reading how it was possible that AI we create could inherit personal biases.

All that Elon suggested at the Governor's conference was to have some sort of government oversight to "regulate" AI so that no one company can use AI dangerously against competition or people. "Regulate" as a "public safety" issue. Elon also stressed that he is not a fan of over-regulation but there are some aspects of society that absolutely need government oversight and regulation, such as air traffic, and transportation. Why would Marc be against regulating AI?
