That one story about the guy’s girlfriend who disappeared with the super religious and controlling parents sounds like a tragic case of an arranged marriage. She most likely told them something about hooking up with a boy, so they quickly set her up with an arranged marriage outside the country to “fix” her (which sadly happens sometimes in certain religious communities). It would explain why they moved her stuff out of her apartment and why she claimed to be in Switzerland. Her dad claiming he didn’t have a daughter was probably his way of expressing his resentment for his daughter’s actions, and also to act as a deterrent to stop him from pursuing her further.

I kid you not, I LITERALLY just got done listening to a documentary about Jodi and Travis before clicking this video. The case really fascinated me, and I never knew that Let’s read doing the Jodi Arias story was the crossover that I never asked for, but never knew that I needed!!

The Jodi Arias case was disturbing. Crazy what some people's logic is like. When she said something along the lines of "all my ex boyfriends are still alive" insinuating there's is no reason why she would have killed Travis. Sick.

To the person in the story at 1:16:10 who was only twelve years old at the time of the story, you were one BRAVE KID! The fact that you went straight for the shotgun, even though it wasn’t loaded, and went to clear your home when you thought someone had just broken in, you were more brave than 99.9% of any twelve year old kid home alone in that situation! Honestly, you were more brave than MOST adults would be in that situation! I hope you pass this bravery onto your kids (or future kids!). I am a Texan who was shown how to use a gun at a very young age, which included gun safety. I passed this knowledge to my three kids who have never feared being home alone either! I give major props to your parents for showing you how to handle a gun at such a young age! 😁

The story of the Arab girl was so upsetting, coming from a Muslim background myself I understood that so well… I’ve heard too many stories of girls just conveniently “going back home” and disappearing … she’s definitely dead. It’s so sad.

You unquestionably have the SMOOTHEST voice in this genre and all others imo! I really love the true-crime stories you must very diligently put a lot of time and effort into researching all the facts of each case. I tend to stray away from Horror Narrators who will narrate “any” Subscriber story sent in to them… Many of them are very obviously made up OR are not even slightly creepy in any fashion of the sense!
