The New Century Global Center is the biggest building in the world by floor area. It has a water park, mall, business center, hotel, art gallery, music hall, and so much more. I was there for several hours and wasn't able to see it all. It is easily accessible by metro, bus, or taxi. The metro from Tian Fu Square downtown was 4RMB. Enjoy!

Thanks for posting. Have just started flying cargo from uk to here and my first impressions are amazing! Only been to Peoples Park and general strolls around centre but the people are great and so much culture and history. China is an incredible place

So for kicks I priced a flight from Minneapolis to Chengdu... round trip, $3000. Flight there, takes 50 hours. Flight back is just 48 hours. For some reason, I dont think im going there anytime soon.

What did it smell like??? Even little malls have insane smell combinations from the food vendors, scented candle and soap stores, cologne, perfume, movie theatre popcorn and in this case, waterpark chemicals. I would do anything to smell this mall.

I'm from Mianyang, a city near Chengdu, but I left Sichuan for many years, just miss the rapid growing period of Chengdu, I want to go back so hard, there are so many new things to discover, the new Tianfu district, the new tianfu airport, the renewed old areas, etc, and of course, this huge center as well. hope I'll have more free time soon and this corono things get done ASAP. /(ㄒoㄒ)/~~

Subbed! I was curious what the biggest footage building in the world is and I saw pics and decided to look up a vid but DANG I wasn’t expecting it to be THAT huge! I could only imagine it in person! I’d travel to China JUST for this place
