TILEMAPS integration and SHOOTING tuning

Welcome to Part 16, in our tutorial series on how to develop a contra’s like-game, with free visual game engine G DEVELOP.

Stay tune, and don´t forget to subscribe, it will certainly support us.

First of all, sorry for the time between videos, but this video took more time to build has we had to rebuild the entire level with tiled as to be able to make the new tilemaps that we wanted to integrate into the game.

In this video, we are going to continue to fine-tune the game-level design. We are going to shift the level from the images that we currently had, and we are going to use the new tilemaps that have just been introduced. We also check how easy it is to replace them, as we have parallax happening.

We will adjust the enemies' positions and we will add a lifespan to the bullets to avoid having bullets that can travel through the entire level.

If you want to learn how to make or design games, you have come to the right place. We are taking the full process to new levels. We are checking on the mechanics that we are implemented and then testing them in the game to make sure they are working correctly. So this is a really good course to learn on how to develop games.

We will upload all the new assets to to the ITCHIO and we are thinking in opening a Github for the project, let us know which you like the most in the comments below.

Resources used:
The new Jungle Tile Set (remember that tilempas only work with one tileset by map)

We are approaching the end of the serie. We will over the next episodes deal with game flows, game exportations, bugs closing, performance, etc... Do you want to see something specific that you need for your game? Then, let us know in the comments and we will make sure to get everything answered and integrated in the next episodes...

All your video’s are great this one to I don’t think this helps me much so I’m going to explain In my game I have seven different enemy’s with seven different hitbox’s and they all use recast but when you kill the very first enemy we made none of the other enemy’s will shoot because killing the first enemy is like killing the recast all together I’d like to be able to kill the enemy and have the next enemy shoot at me using recast there must be a way to separate them a different recast for each enemy. As always your doing great your video’s are very help to a noob like me
