I really loved Mary Berry, but have grown to like Prue and the new crew. I play these shows frequently. For some reason, it makes me feel so good. The contestants are all so real.

While I loved Mel and Sue in their own ways, I also love Noel and Sandy. I was so sad at first that Mel and Sue were no more, but they have filled the role very well.

This is my favorite show since it actually teaches you the secrets professional bakers uses. I have baked so much after watching the show, and realize that a good teacher and complete recipes with proper instructions are a must. Thanks British Baking Show. Hope to watch you soon.

I love this show! It's refreshing to see how the contestants are so polite to each other and they help one another even though it's a competition. ❤

I only just started watching this but, like others have said, I immediately loved this show for how different it was from most stuff I see. Everyone helps each other. They hang out when the show is done. They can carry on with their jobs while participating instead of having to drop everything for weeks. There is very little hostility. You get to see the weather changing through the clear tent walls. There's not a lot of yelling or criticizing. It's just nice. I do wish I could see what these bakers were capable of if they weren't fighting the weather and had a bit more time to decorate but... overall, it's an awesome show and I think the no cash prize is probably part of that. And I love how calm Paul is. Also the little bits of comedy from the hosts is soooo nice. I've never seen cooking/baking competitions with that.

It took awhile to get used to the show with the new cast, but Prue, Noel, and Sandy are all charming in their own way. Once I stopped comparing them to the old cast, and just enjoyed them for who they were, I liked them.

Thank you so much I've wondered about the drawings so much, I had always assumed that it was an artist on a computer but now that I think about it his drawings are impeccable

I love the illustrations as well! I watch but it's not the same without Mary and Paul and Sue.

What was wrong with saying it is diabetes on a plate. He was just acknowledging that so much carbs and sugar were bad. I am type 1 I love the programme but could not eat the bakes. People take offence at anything. It's boring we can't even make a flippant remark.

I love this show. Although I liked the original hosts, I’m just as happy with the new ones. This is because the shows content (heart) remains the same. No TV show should be about the judges or the hosts, in such a way, that if they leave the show bombs. The heart of the show should be what keeps it going and I find this is what’s happened with TGBBO. The same warmth, wicked humour, cake highs and flat bread lows - and the wonderful finale - all remain the same.

Noel and Sandy were great together. Love Prue stepping in too.

They have so much more than the cake stand and flowers. They get TV contracts, magazine and TV interviews, they bring out their own books and even have their own shows.

This used to be my favorite show I tried watching after Mary, Sue and Mel left and it's just not the same. Ahhhh I miss the good ol days and Mary and her aversion to soggy bottoms 🤣

9:38 It was in 2017. The real reason the presenters changed was the BBC sold the programme rights to channel 4 an independent station in the UK. Mel and Sue condemned the move over money and left. Mary Berry announced she would also be leaving.
