Just spent a day in Hallstatt 2 weeks ago n it was great. First thing we did was went up to Skywalk for spectacular views of the alps and pictures. Then we came down for 1 hour ferry for beautiful green lake and beautiful views of the village from outside. We then strolled through the village for lunch snacks and pictures before taking the ferry to the other side to the train station heading back to Salzburg. We missed five fingers and salt mine, but we were very happy because the weather was sunny and pleasant.
