This is so beautiful. Link, after defeating ganon, being given his childhood back, losing epona, surpassing the horrors of termina and majora's mask, finally an adult again, finally back in hyrule, gets to meet back with zelda. Now a proper adult, the man he was meant to be, she got to see link as he was as a child with way too much responsibility, then now as a seasoned adult warrior whos been through it all. Beautiful fanfiction to continue after mm.

I'm a huge Hero of Time fan, I first heard of this series last night and binged it today. What can I say except, it's amazing. The references, worldbuilding, story, etc. It is a tear jerker of a series, and I can only imagine when the finale drops it will bring any Zelda fan to tears. This is the story nintendo refuses/is scared to tell for some reason, and it was even more beautiful than I could've imagined.

That is sad to think, Link leaving Hyrule meant leaving it all behind.
Then again, did Zelda actually know Link in this timeline? At the end of Ocarina of Time, it seems like Link returns to the point when he first arrived at the castle.
