Today I wanted to surprise the guests of an Italian Restaurant in Paris.

But when I started playing Lacrimosa by Mozart, a whole choir joins me !! 🤯

Imagine eating at a restaurant where someone playing on the piano might be the norm. Then out of nowhere you hear this amazing choir busting out singing Mozart's Lacrimosa so beautifully, like angels. What would be your reaction? I probably would've cried there like I did here.

I've loved the music of Mozart since I was young. At 75, I can say if this ever happened at a restaurant - or anywhere public - I would be overwhelmed. It made tears come to my eyes & the hair stand up on my arms.

As poet John Keats wrote, "A thing of beauty is a joy forever: its loveliness increases; it will never pass."

Mozart's Requim is one of the most haunting and gorgeous pieces of music ever composed. I would have been crying with you had I been at that restaurant when this unforgettable performance took place.
