I can't believe it's already been 5 year since I started my journey of becoming an entrepreneur and my own boss! In this video I wanted to share some of the lessons I've learned during these 5 years - what has worked for me when it comes to building your brand and community on Instagram and YouTube, as well as how I've stayed motivated and figured it all out along the way :)

Such wise words! As creatives I think we just want to do so much, which is awesome, but as you said can be overwhelming as well. I struggle with keeping focused and not bouncing around to each of my different projects and therefore not finishing anything! I'm sure your book will be so beautiful!!

Many thanks for your cheerful spirit and authentic contemplations. The last few days I’ve “left my worries on the doorstep” as the song goes and spent hours taking beautiful photos of the trees here in Sacramento, CA. Supposedly Sacramento is 2nd only to Paris in the trees it has.
I love the feeling of joy, wonder, and the expansiveness that focusing on beauty brings to my heart.
I believe that applies to creativity as well. If you’re expanded in joy and wonder rather than contracted in fear and worry…I think that affects the experiences we bring to our lives.
I read a lot about consciousness from a scientific perspective. Probably one of my top favorite quotes is by Albert Einstein; “imagination is more important than knowledge”. It seems a curious thing for a scientist to say but I think he knew that we are only beginning to understand the nature of consciousness in the universe and the roles we play in our own lives. Like you and Jimmy Fallon’s wife making a list❤😊
I’m completely enthralled by a book just published by Robert Temple. I actually had to order it from the UK as it just came out here ( U.S.) in October.

…anyway, thanks so much for sharing your journey. I actually just picked up knitting needles and am working on knitting and purling. I made your dishcloth but it had many holes and some loose strings 😮 but I just picked up a different set of needles and am starting another 😅
