Man attacks woman and 2 year old with an axe, has to pay $2400 to get out of jail... makes perfect sense.

The fact that violent attackers can pay bail and get out to potentially finish killing the victims seems suspect and an injustice.

I don't understand how after countless examples of this many still act as if those with mental illnesses are not dangerous.

if he isn't locked up she needs to sue for damages.

He's caught on camera using a deadly weapon and totaling a that had just contained a child and he gets a super low bond even after it's confirmed he has family in the area (resources) to pay this ridiculously low bond amount. WTH?

Nothing that a 9mm couldn't have taken care of. People need to protect themselves. People are crazy.

I think this guy might be a high risk of hurting someone. Most crazy don't go destroying a whole care.

I had a neighbor just like this, after 5 years of his terror, the constable through his ass out 4 months ago, he was crying like a baby. Good riddance!

I hope she invests in a firearm and gets some training after this experience.

I had a neighbor like this when I moved in. He parked in front of our house and would ramble. I greeted him or at least smiled. But suddenly he was angered by my presence. He threw rocks At me from across the street . He threw a small pipe he found. Then one day he came right up to my car wanting to beat me w a stick. I stopped going into my home in his line of sight . I drove around the block and would park only if he wasn’t there. And ran into the back entrance. He seems to have shifted his focus over time and his car was towed . It was a bit terrifying to move in with a mentally Ill neighbor. His mother is too old too to help. He now mostly wanders by himself all day walking. I wish there were more resources to check. In on him.

I’m so glad you are safe. Wishing you continued safety in your new home. I’m so glad you and your baby are safe.

That’s crazy his bill was only $24, 000 that means he only needs 2400 to get out🤔

That woman needs to move with her daughter if he isn’t locked up for a long time.

Stop making excuses.
Had she been armed the problem would have been handled right there.
What is she supposed to do now, hide in her new home ????
Why can’t we call crazy people crazy anymore ?

All this in Summerlin and a gated community, so doesn't matter where you live.

“public safety “ what are you preventing? Oh yeah crime out of control but you instead target old offenders which never even posed a threat. This poor lady and child, Las Vegas is an embarrassment with such a horrible law structure, when will they learn?
