What I eat in a day over 60 (post menopause) for heart health and to reduce belly fat and power me through my day!

This year I'm trying to cut out more added sugars while
increasing fiber & protein. I don't go for a zero sugar diet but
reducing added sugars helps to reduce belly fat, lowers
inflammation, & contributes to heart health. My goal is less than 25g
of added sugars per day.

Increasing fiber helps lower cholesterol & blood sugar while
keeping me feeling fuller longer & helps maintain a healthy
weight.

Our bodies process proteins less efficiently as we get older
so increasing protein is important for maintaining muscle
mass & boosting metabolism! Try to get 1-1.2 g per Kg of
body weight.

I used to do high impact workouts but now I do low-impact
bike bootcamps that combine cardio with weight lifting. The
cardio helps keep my heart healthy and lifting weights keeps
my bones & muscles strong.

I love that your nutrition is simple and balanced meals. No fads like low carb, keto, etc. When you have an opportunity will you do a video or short on what your exercise routine is like nowadays (I know you did some a few years back). How much cardio, weights, do you do per week. Thank you!

Hello Angie, you are inspiring and motivating . I am 51 years old and I have almost a 4 year old child my first child. I would like to look and feel great as you by taking better care of myself. I am experiencing perimenopause and I have gained 20 pounds since my pregnancy. I cannot seem to get back down to my weight from 4-5 years ago. I discovered your videos regarding menopause. They have been helpful and encouraging.
I also decided to buy a peloton bike to help lose weight from watching your videos on what you eat in a day and how you take care of your health. I also saw the cereal you eat from Costco and I was going to buy it a couple of months ago and now I think I will. I need to eat more salmon and other good healthy fish.
