Prince Harry returns to London without Meghan Markle for children's charity event

Prince Harry has made a solo trip to London to attend a charity event for seriously ill children.

He has made several public appearances in recent weeks, despite stepping down from official royal duties.

The Duke of Sussex, 40, touched down at Heathrow Airport to attend the WellChild awards ceremony honouring children and teenagers with complex medical conditions at the Royal Lancaster Hotel on Monday.
