Welcome spring!

These two little boys are rocking my life... Truly... They've changed everything for the better and for the worst 🐷🐷
Rescuing piglets from the industry was one of my deepest desires all my life but they came just as I thought I would step back from rescuing any more animals because I felt so burnt out... And yeah... What should I say...I burned out even further 😬 These last months really haven't been as lightful for me as it might sometimes appear on the outside. I've been going through many phases of deep healing & growing wich includes many, many breakdowns and moments of hopelessness and despair... Feeling the weight of a project like this nearly entirely on your shoulders is not easy to carry but creating a reliable team/support system isn't easy either...
So adding two new members to the family without actually having the resources to be sure that they can be properly taken care of in the long run hasn't really helped with that.
But still...their presence is making me smile every day and even though I am regularly breaking down feeling like I am completely failing at offering my animal family the life they actually deserve, moments like this are helping me to believe that what we have is enough for now and that shared joy is able to create real magic ✨
And now it already is spring again, nature is waking up, new opportunities arise and there are so many adventures ahead that I am looking forward to share with you ❤️
