On Capitol Hill, lawmakers were eager to react to last night's debate. Many waiting to see how the performances of Vice President Harris and former President Trump could affect their races. And as you might expect, reaction to the debate broke along party lines. Some Republicans agreed with critics who said at times it felt like former President Trump was not only debating Harris but also the two ABC News commentators. Senator Rick Scott says, "Do the same thing for everybody. Because it appeared to be biased. But everybody gets to do the debate the way they want to do it." Others say Kamala Harris still hasn't laid out her vision. Representative Byron Donalds says, "She attacked Donald Trump. Donald Trump told us what matters to people, which is securing our border, getting an economy thriving and rising again for all the American people and getting out of these conflicts that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have gotten the United States into." Meanwhile, Republican Senator Mitt Romney says the debate worked out for both candidates. Capitol Hill Correspondent, Erik Rosales reports.
