The problem is falsifying business records is a misdemeanor charge and they were all expired by the time of the indictment. For this to be felonies, he would’ve had to be falsifying business records to cover up another crime. In the jury instructions, they gave a list of four crimes that they said Trump could’ve possibly been covering up some were state charges, and some federal charges. The jury was instructed to pick one of the four crimes, but they didn’t have to be unanimous on which crime it was that he was supposedly covering up by falsifying the business records. This is completely unconstitutional and unprecedented. Not only that, but when the indictment is put forward, they have to list all crimes that the definite is being charged with and none of these four crimes were listed. This is a huge problem and would be overturned in an appeal easily. This proves this case was nothing but law they didn’t have anything to charge them with except for the misdemeanors that were already expired.

Could the court pardon itself if it wants to?

A few lies by omission, unfortunately. Trump didn't just pay Stormy Daniel's for her silence. It was part of a settlement of a suit against him, and, like many cases, it included a NDA. It can not be claimed that the whole of that payment was for her silence. Furthermore, you claim this was criminal without even touching on what makes it criminal. Normally, this would be civil. The prosecution claimed there was an underlying crime to bump it up, and the judge allowed them to claim this without specifying the charges until the end of the trial.

Clear, Informative, and representative of what’s going on without the narrative driven delivery like major news networks. Well put together video!

This isn't making sense to me, what's improper about registering payments to Cohen as legal payments? Is that not technically accurate?

Thank you start here for this concise video! I live in NYC but very busy with research on my doctoral project so that I rarely check up on news. I have been trying to figure out what’s going on with Trump but all videos are politicized or too long and vague in explanation! This video is just what I was looking for:)

Have a good day!

Why are all these charges coming now at the same time? Lady literally said justice takes time. 😂. Or because it’s a political prosecution?
