The Clever Rabbit and the Lion
Once upon a time, in a dense forest, there was a powerful lion who terrorized all the animals. The animals, desperate to find a solution, approached the lion with a proposal. They suggested that, in order to avoid being eaten, they would send one animal each day to be the lion's meal. The lion agreed, thinking it was a good deal for him.

One day, it was the turn of a clever rabbit to go to the lion. The rabbit was not willing to become a meal and came up with a plan. He took his time getting to the lion’s den, making sure to arrive late. The lion was very hungry and grew impatient.

The rabbit told the lion, "I apologize for being late, but I was stopped by another lion on the way here. He claimed he was the king of the forest and wanted to challenge you."

The lion, enraged and jealous, demanded to be taken to this rival lion. The rabbit led the lion to a deep well and told him the other lion was inside. The lion looked into the well and saw his own reflection. Believing it was the rival lion, he roared at it.

The sound echoed and the lion, enraged by the imagined challenge, jumped into the well to attack. Unfortunately, he drowned in the deep water.

The clever rabbit returned to the other animals, who were relieved and celebrated their freedom from the terror of the lion.

And so, the rabbit’s intelligence saved all the animals from the lion's tyranny.
